Opening a new chapter in the KOTWF Log Book
Kings of the Wild Frontier has been quiet - but we haven’t gone anywhere. If you’ve crossed paths with us before, you likely won’t need a reminder of who we are and what we do. But we have been off the beaten track for a little while, so it’s possible this is your first time opening our Log Book. Either way, we’re delighted you are here. A brief introduction is probably in order!
First, who are we? We are a Community of endurance athletes and coaches with a passion for achieving more. Whether it’s triathlon, running, cycling or strength and conditioning, we are here to help the KOTWF Community take its next step towards the Wild Frontier - and conquer it.
In both London and Bakewell in the Peak District, we offer bespoke coaching, training plans for elite sports and opportunities for social training.
Where have we been? Well, where we’ve always been. We closed the Log Book for a while, but over the past few years the KOTWF Community has grown in more ways than one. People of all abilities and backgrounds have come in to share their journey with us and each other. Beyond that, we have hosted ride outs with brands like Rapha, we have witnessed cutting-edge running shoe demonstrations by Hoka, and had the privilege of partnering with leaders in the field of strength, wellbeing and fitness.
But most importantly, we have seen clients become friends, worries become wins, and explorers become conquerors. KOTWF is not the same as when we last closed the Log Book - and neither are its people.
We feel now is a perfect time to reopen the Log Book and turn a new page. Those of you who know us may remember insights into the professional triathlon training of Indie Lee, our running coach’s advice on getting the most out of your wearable tech, and features on physiology, biomechanics and nutrition with our expert elite sports partners. Those aren’t going anywhere. We still want to provide you with a resource to enrich your journey, and share with the rest of the KOTWF Community.
This new version of the Log Book will land in your inbox every month and include:
Training advice and tools from our coaches and experts
Inspiration and stories from people across the KOTWF Community
Opportunities to connect at our social runs, rides and events
A preview of key dates in the calendar: races, training sessions and so much more
Sometimes, our own journey isn’t enough to keep us going. Every once in a while, what we need to find our next track is a guiding hand, a clue, a push. Maybe all we need is to see someone else find their track first. This is our vision for the Log Book.
But that’s not all! We also have a few exciting new additions to the KOTWF offering. Much more to come on that very soon.
We are so happy to be back, and we can’t wait to share the rest of the journey with you. It’s going to be a great ride.
